Beach Day

During our sunny California Days, mommy took advantage of the warm weather and took me out on a trip to Venice Beach, CA... and boy did I love it.. I collected some rocks, shells, played with lady bugs, and even made a new friend named Taiyou. Overall I had a blast at the beach with the company of my mommy and Mama Gabs.

A few days ago Brody's abuela Silvia adopted a dog for Brody to play with. Bow daily Brody has a routine of going and playing with the dog, giving him food and water and dedicating a free play time with a favorite toy. They're quite a team if you ask me!

The Mustang

One of Brody's everyday activities now a days, is training to race mustangs! Around 4 Brody runs out to greet his uncle Steve and hop in the mustang as his uncle works on the other mustang.

All I want for Christmas is my TWO front teeth...

Ok, OK. I Know this is sort of late, but I've had every intention to share the news with you all. So for the Christmas season, all my mommy and I kept singing was The Chipmunks song "my two front teeth." So Christmas day came, and mommy was a little mad because I couldn't help but to be in pain. Finally Christmas night my mommy saw it, MY FIRST TOOTH! She was excited she just had to call Daddy!! Well it's been a month since that 1st tooth, and I now have a second one..I've learned to chew on bananas and snack wheels, I think those are my favorite, for now. I can't wait til I get my molars so I can eat porkchops with my Grandpa. :-)

So this past Saturday was my big cousin Abel's birthday party, he turned 3. It was so much fun, there was a jumper and tons of loud fun sounding music, that I got to dance to....I fell asleep during the pinata though :-(...I thought I was going to break it that night...oh well maybe next time. As the night went by, I felt like I was the star, people were taking my picture left and right...and this is the sneak peak they sent to me. I'll post more pictures of the night later, but meanwhile here ya'll go.

Me and Momz

alright so its been a few weeks since i said wassup to yall.. so im here to update my status ya kno... i am now 2 months old and i love to smile at my mommy. :-D

So today is the BIG day. It really felt like it was going to be forever before I finally got to wear my 1st pair of NIKES!
They felt so gooood on my toes it was an intense feelinG I tell you. Well I just wanted to share this delightful experience with ya'll.

So yesterday Grandma Cheryl seemed to realllllly miss me, so I had to go pay her a visit.

On my Own

So last night my mommy wouldn't let me sleep alone. She insisted on for me to sleep in her arms...so me being the obedient boy I am, I did. 5 hours later I said, enough is enough!!! I broke loose from those arms...I cried and wailed 'til finally mommy put me down in my crib... Now if any of ya'll have ever seen my crib, ya'll would've been just as happy. I have this amazing plush crib with this cool projector mobile that plays some cool jams ( including Beethoven & Mozart .) So there I am happy and content.. 4 am chillin' with my music on, and here comes my mom again trying to carry me...so I had a fit! screamed at her and insisted in going back in. When she realized I wanted to go to sleep on my own for the first time...her eyes were filled with tears...she had to realize i'm a big boy now. 1 1/2 month old. lol.

Itty Bity Bandit

Being a Bandit is tough, it's even worst to be a son of a Bandit. (SOB) They had to contain me at birth with this "hospital arrest" device. After a few days, I was free, you know they can't stop a Bandit. Watch out for me, I'm officially running the streets with mom & pop.



I'm a beast!!

Mommy & Me

It's been a whole 5 weeks and still Brody is very attached to his mother. She holds him constantly, anytime he is with her, he does not let her put him down. They're definitley inseperable. It's been said Donovan has even became jealous of the great bond between Brody and Jessica.

A Month Old

WOWZERS!! Its been a whole month and Brody has seen and been through many crazy, yet amazing things. He has drank lots of milk, got circumsized, cried, smiled, and even poo poo'd and pee'd!!! He's such a natural. It's like he's done it all before.

Other than that, he's harrassed daily by his grandmother, but he knows it is all LOVE! Awwwwwwwww.

Strong Man

2 weeks later and Brody is already exercising regularly. He can even lift his head. This kid is talented i tell you!

Interactions With Father

Finally after a couple weeks Brody became comfortable leaving his mothers nipple and hanging out with Dad. You can see the two surf the web together and hang out on the bed!

If you look closely you can see Brody watching cool stuff on the internet through the reflection of Daddy Don's eyes! Truly Amazing!


You can see Brody is trying to wave but he has not yet learned to work his hands and fingers. Good Try Brody!!!

Old Home vs. New Home

It was difficult for Brody to grow acustom to his new home, but after a few days he knew it was the place for him, especially since he outgrew his old home!

Captain Hook

Brody recieved his first nickname a few Hours after birth. Looking at the world with one eye open, he soon became Captain Hook. In my opinion he's much cuter than Captain Hook ever was!

BIRTH!!!!!

The following took place June 27, 2009

After 25 hrs of a long and trying labor, Brody Donovan Blount finally made his entrance into the world. Luckily he arose with all body parts intact!!! He came out a whopping 8 lbs 9 oz. and was 20 in. long. Shortly after taking sight of his mother, whom for all of 9 months he assumed was an evil monster, he broke out in tears. But soon he realized who was boss and clung to her breast. Meanwhile Brody's father, Donovan, stood in shock and began crying like a little girl. SIKE!!! Although witnesses claim to have seen his eyes water up, he denies all allegations. It was an amazing feat and people from all over america traveled to Los Angeles to witness the birth of young Brody. Many believe he is the reincarnation of Michael Jackson, others think he is the return of Jehova. When his parents are asked what they think of all this commotion, they respond, "He is the ONE." Despite all the speculation, one thing is for sure. HE SURE IS CUTE AINT HE!?!??!?!
